The EmpowerAI project, aimed at navigating the ethical dimensions of AI in academic education, held its kick-off meeting at the Technical University of Sofia. Led by Assoc. Prof. Vladislav Slavov, the event brought together representatives from partnering institutions.

Key outcomes included:

• Agreement on online meetings to be held in January 2025.
• Approval of the Quality Evaluation Plan.
• Development of necessary templates for financial reporting, timesheets, and research compliance.
• Commitment to creating a project website by January 31, 2025.

The meeting set the stage for future collaborative activities focused on integrating ethical AI practices in education.
